Too bad my VCR has a copy of you sucking off the remaining living members of Warrant stuck in it or I’d hop on Amazon and order the whole serious.

So you're saying you watch a lot of gay films from the 80s?

I think a healthy Zimmerman could be a boon to this team. The guy did hit 36 HRs last year and, in the baseball economy of today, $14 million is not a ton of cash. I think we should give Zim as much time as possible to rehab, make sure he is 100% healthy(he is not good unless he is fully healthy) and ride the Reynolds hot hand until it eventually goes cold. Right now, getting the best of Mark Reynolds while Zim is on the DL is pretty much best case scenario. The guy will come back down to Earth, and a healthy Zimmerman is a more talented and patient hitter than Mark Reynolds.

So let's insert Zimm in the line up and start losing winnable games again. We all know how much fans at the ballpark like seeing him strand RISP

I didn't realize that when Reynolds was with the Orioles, he set the all time record for most strikeouts by a batter in all of MLB history. But some are saying that with K rates way up, that record will fall this season.

He did it with Arizona in 2009. But yes. he still holds the all time record for strikeouts in a season with 223

In 35 plate appearances, Reynolds has 5 strikeouts, which is a pretty good rate and way, way below his career totals.

Clubs out of the playoff mix don't need him, and teams in the playoff mix don't trade with one another.

I hope you are either high (not likely) or drunk to be asking such a dumb question, for several reasons.

My God...I'm not even smart at baseball and some of you make me look like Gomer Pile.

I'm trying to decipher this.  Make me look like Gomer Pile / Pyle?  That means you make me look like a guy not known for his smarts.  But the first half of the post suggests that abaltonat suggests that he thinks the other posters aren't sharp.  Add in the "I'm not even smart at baseball," and it seems like he is trying to say that, in comparison, he's a genius, but instead, he simply reinforces his admission that he's not smart at baseball.

Perhaps Gomer Pyle is an aspirational hero for him, and someone who he would like to one day be as smart as?

I suspect he meant to say I make you look like Gomer Pyle. But he's got some Gomer in him so...

Well...apparently my pop culture is off...I thought Gomer was the clueless one?

If not...POTY for most inept reference.

Too funny.
