Good luck on 12. I don’t see them beating the Pens after Tuesday’s demoralizing loss.

Gonna be an uphill climb, that's for sure...

Two games back.

Difo with a nice walk off.

But did anyone think that they're five infielder, two outfielder setup cost the Phillies? Ball wasnt hit deep and Odubel has a good arm. Could have been a play at the plate

It was the best percentage defense for the situation.  The two outfielders seemed like they were in odd position though.  They should have been more shallow and covering the center and the side he trends to.   We had so many ways to win that game with bases loaded and no outs.   The best way to trim those odds a little is a K or a a ground ball play to the catcher.

I agree, it is the smart thing to do. With the winning run at third, less than two outs, almost any ball hit to the outfield likely ends the game.  In this case it backfired, because two outfielders is usually one in left-center and one in right-center.  But the ball was hit to center, so if there had been three outfielders there would have been a centerfielder, and the ball was hit low enough that a centerfielder might have been able to hold the runner at third.   Doesn't mean it was the wrong call though.

Is that Pablo's brother?

ninja'd too late.  It actually was his brother until that unfortunate incident with post-burrito digestion.  Oh the huge manatee!

If things don't improve, at least until September.
