Yeah, a large proportion of forum usage has been consolidated into Reddit usage. Reddit is like another flavor of forum. It's like pasta: other Internet forums are fettuccine, capellini, linguine, etc., and then you have Reddit which is gnocchi. You know it's technically the same, but there's something totally different about it. It's probably become the forum of preference in the mobile age because the minimalism makes for a much better mobile browsing experience. That, and people got tired of some forums just looking too busy and reminding them of MySpace.
