Platoon/bench bat
So they are gonna sit Carlos Santana in a penant race? Bour getting 1 Ab a game seems silly to me.

I am open to calling that the worst loss of the season. My grip on the rope is as weak as it has been this season.

ESPN was all over us the last inning about being the most dangerous team in the NL :lmao:

sign me up as a supporter to your observation. This was a brutal loss. Just a complete mess. This is the type of loss where an experienced manager could help in the days to come.

Guys, I dont post anymore, but I read and am with you every day. My parting thoughts are: This team is gutless. No heart, no fight, no guts. There are a some exceptions (probably about 10 on the 25 man roster) but mgt has assembled a team of gutless dogs.

I will be with the franchise forever, I started with the 1979 Expos....but I have had it. This loss showed how much this team lacks a killer instinct. No heart, folks. Its a team with no heart. A collection of pigs.

Yeah.  That felt like how we’d lose a game 5 in an nlds.  The bullpen is definitely the weak link in the chain at the moment.

I am the most optimistic poster on this board but that is devastating.

The pen has some arms, but missing Doolittle and Herrera is a tall task. Madson is okay but they're having to ride him and he had a bad night.

Just a back breaking loss.

Now Madson comes out and says he’s dealing with a back issue. What a joke.

by dangerous, they obviously mean to themselves. Kind of like that guy in Seattle who decided to take a prop plane for a joy ride. It takes a lot of talent to figure out a new way to off yourself. With barrel rolls!

that's predictable for this team, they can't take responsibility for their freak ups. 3 runs last night should've been enough to win the game. Madson singlehandedly lost that game.

Nothing pisses me off more than when players do this. If you're effing hurt, don't pretend you're some tough guy and play through it and hurt the team. If you do go ahead and do play, then shut the eff up after. We don't want to hear your bullcrap excuses.

Damn. For real? Don't blame your awful performance on your back. If you were hurt, you shouldn't have played, especially if it costs what should've been a guaranteed win.
