8.   Catoctin Creek once, and Copper Fox 7 times.   

Copper Fox is conveniently across the parking lot from Pen Druid brewpub, as well as being on the way back from Shenandoah Nat'l Park where we hike semi-frequently.

The rebuilt distillery of Mount Vernon is pretty nifty. Old George knew how to get his corn to market.

No, I don't mess with distillation.  Though, I am keenly interested in buying a barrel to age my own Manhattans in.  I hear you can age them for a few weeks in a charcoal barrel, then bottle them (like in an old empty whiskey bottle    ) and presto, ready made manhattans that kick ass.
