If he had gotten it, maybe the best catch ever at Nats Park?

I've never seen a player get so high up at his apex.

Have I ever mentioned my dislike of the Braves?

Is it because they are America's team?

Matt Kelly‏ @mattkellyMLB

Victor Robles clocked his RBI triple in just 11.12 seconds for the fastest home-to-3rd time of any @Nationals player in @statcast history.

I can't wait for a lineup with Turner, Robles, Eaton, and Harper in it. Gonna put a ton of pressure on defenses. Probably only get it for a year, but with Rendon at 3rd, Murphy at 3rd and Zim at 1st and that lineup's gonna put up a lot of runs next season.

gonna give up a lot of hits on the right side of the infield though, and turning DP's will be hell

There is absolutely no way they keep Robles off the post-season roster (barring injury).

If he had made it, it would have been the best catch I’ve ever seen.  Better than the Jackie Bradley over the wall catch (which should have been a home run).

If.......

I was thinking about Mitlen’s recent 50,000th post. I feel like I spend a lot of time on here, and at my pace I will hit that level in 19 years.... :o

May 5, 2030, or 13 years, 2 months, 10 days.

You're at 2021 which means you need 47979 more.

You've been on the forum for 203 days so you're averaging only 9.96 posts per day.  My guess is you've increased your pace recently which is good, but if we eliminated the posts back and forth with Slate and Leroy you'd be back down to 10 a day anyway.

You will much more likely win the coveted 10/10 designation - 10,000 posts or more in 10 years unless you pick up the pace a bit.

Novel defense however, putting 2 3rd basemen out there.

bluestreak attends a lot of games which usually keeps one from running up posts in a GDT.    He spends his time at the Park stalkin' mitlen and spider.

Trolling is a fishing reference.  I fish quite a bit, and if the fish are biting you don't leave the spot, ever.

That was easy, I was in mid-sip already.  This 1792 bourbon is pretty smooth.

I know the organisation is smitten with switch hitters, but how exactly is Wieters an upgrade over Suzuki?  I like cheap bargain parts that, well, pretty much work.  Why I drove a Saturn (before the city rats ate it).

No, I don't mess with distillation.  Though, I am keenly interested in buying a barrel to age my own Manhattans in.  I hear you can age them for a few weeks in a charcoal barrel, then bottle them (like in an old empty whiskey bottle    ) and presto, ready made manhattans that kick ass.
