If I'm Rizzo, I'm telling Dusty to go easy on Max
So you're telling your manager to not treat the guy you're paying to be an ace like an ace?  Also, good luck telling Max that.

Albers is living proof that man-boobs aren't relevant to pitching.

Kalko was saying he interviewed Max and Max said he would be dialing back his pitch counts for a while and then ramp as the playoffs approach. Makes sense to me.

He's making them look advantageous.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he gets to make that call.  I've never really been under the impression that Dusty gets to tell Max what to do.

It's common sense. I bet he, Dusty, and Maddox are all on board.

August 13 is
Left Hander's Day

 Left Handed Facts and Trivia:

Sinistrophobia is the fear of left-handedness or things on the left side.
While many people are left handed, very few are 100% left handed. For example, many Left handers golf and bat right handed. On the other hand, there is a high percentage of righties who are 100% right-handed.
Lefties are also called "southpaws". The term was coined in baseball to describe a left handed pitcher.
    Tuesdays are Lefties luck day.
Only about 10% of the population is left handed.
During the 1600's people, thought left handers were witches and warlocks.
International Left Hander's Day was first celebrated on August 13, 1976. It was started by Lefthander's International.
All Polar Bears are left handed.

Nationals should be inspired by polar bears

Within a calendar day, I think we're now at 22.

I guess they got about 28 in the 24 hour period.   And are at about 23 on the calendar day.

Every Giants player outside Posey looks like the absolute same slap hitting singles guy at the plate. It's repetitive.

Wow, that's a lot of gray beard hair for Denard Span. The last two years have really aged him.

check out the games played on October 2 between the reds and the pirates (the 3rd game was only 6 innings so the brewers/white sox game in 1984 was longer, 25 innings).
