I'm sure that's exactly why.  I'm sure Mike Rizzo was sitting in his office saying, "You know what's wrong with this team?  Max Scherzer is pitching too many innings.  How can I make the best RHP in baseball pitch for us less?"

One I recall the most is trying to play Superman.    Tried to jump from a lawn chair to the cement stoop in what would now be called the projects.    The folding chair  ....  collapsed.    My mom was in the back in the kitchen and said she heard the crash when I hit.    Still got about an inch scar above my right eye.

I limited my Superman attempts to the living room. If I could just get that second leg in the air at the same time, I knew I could fly.
