I don't blame him either. Seems to be a topic today but I didn't mind yesterday. Driving range? That's gotta be way out of bounds. The only joy I got out of the wait was Miller moaning about how JS should go back and tee off again. I love it when Miller gets dolted.

PGA Championship starting today.

Does anyone know why they split the field and have half start on the front nine and half on the back? I don't remember them doing it in the old days.

Internet connection not too good today and grandson keeping me busy. As seems usual for the PGA there are some unknown names at the top.

I recognize a couple on the leader board. Came back from the pool. Didn't realize it was on TNT. I'm lookin' all over the place. Wearin' the remote out. Missus wanted to know why I didn't look at the TV listings. Huh?

It's used to speed things up, particularly with large fields of golfers during the first two days before the cut. Sometimes used on the weekends if there's bad weather and a smaller window of playing time, or times during the season when the length of daylight is shorter.

I googled it and that was what it said also. Thanks. I understand you get more golfers on the course. But then you have like a 2 or 3 hour gap between starting times on both 9s as the first groups finish up. So doesn't that offset it mostly? I'm trying to think about it and it's making my brain hurt. Need a beer.
