Yes and the one extra hit from Rizzo was huge, but it wasn’t a good hit. It was a bloop bullcrap hit.

As discussed in the game thread, you can't. Once a relief pitcher is in, he must pitch through a complete plate appearance unless he gets hurt.

I just had a discussion with someone and he asked me what I would do if Baker decided to start Roark tomorrow and my answer was that I would want him fired on the spot. There is absolutely no reason not to pitch Strasburg tomorrow.

It is getting beyond ridiculous. I thought it was terrible when guys being paid millions to pitch relief needed "clean innings" or regulars who "don't like" to hit in a certain spot in the order. I'm all for "player's managers",but is winning ever a priority?

I mean it's like he's trying to get fired. I just don't understand what he's doing? You couldn't bungle this series any worse then he has. It's such a bummer because I like dusty a lot.
