Well, I hope the Lerners are happy with their low ball alternate, Dusty. The last time a manager took a one hit pitcher out of the game I think we saw the same losing result. That isn't the worst fault to be found with this guy. He has zero energy, no imagination, and absolutely no creative managing skills for a line up that is designed to address the limitations of players and strengths of the opposition. Francona, Maddon, others shake things up - Dusty plays stale hunches. To date for this series the hunch is "we don't have to change ANYTHING". Great. Turner is lost, Werth is an ols definite out,Weiters is not likely to get around the bases with a two base lead, and Harper-Murphey-Zimmerman reflect the lack of timely punch that could use a shake up of Robles-Hendrick-Difo-Lind-Anyone else as a game day sub.
Thank you Lerner family for management on the cheap - this is what loserville feels like
