It's his fault for playing the same band of choking losers though.

Any chance the team that actually got us here will play tomorrow?

He freaked up going with Solis instead of just rolling with the Bullpen's Big 3 but its also not his fault when the same band of choking losers simply can not hit a baseball in October.

Kendrick is 5-10 against Quintana. He didn't play.
Lind was the spark last game and a great hitter. He didn't play.
Turner is lost and Difo is a good hitter and better defensively. He didn't play.

It is his fault when he keeps running the same players out there and refuses to make moves that a tee-ball manager could make.

Well, I hope the Lerners are happy with their low ball alternate, Dusty.  The last time a manager took a one hit pitcher out of the game I think we saw the same losing result.  That isn't the worst fault to be found with this guy. He has zero energy, no imagination, and absolutely no creative managing skills for a line up that is designed to address the limitations of players and strengths of the opposition.  Francona, Maddon, others shake things up - Dusty plays stale hunches.  To date for this series the hunch is "we don't have to change ANYTHING".  Great.  Turner is lost, Werth is an ols definite out,Weiters is not likely to get around the bases with a two base lead, and Harper-Murphey-Zimmerman reflect the lack of timely punch that could use a shake up of Robles-Hendrick-Difo-Lind-Anyone else as a game day sub.

Thank you Lerner family for management on the cheap - this is what loserville feels like

Is someone really arguing Bud “Mark Kotsay is a HOF” Black would have done a better job?

Hit .297/.371/.525 since returning from his injury.

Has looked lost first three games but I'm not sure who else makes sense there. I know Werth got a hit today, but I would not be opposed to Difo or Kendrick starting tomorrow in his spot and leading off.

I said it in my post: put Rendon there.  If not him, Werth (if he insists on starting him) because at least Werth works the count and takes a decent number of pitches.

I don't care what Turner's second half stat line looks like - he is proving to be a complete choke artist in the postseason.  Regular season production is not indicative of how he'll do in the postseason.

I really like Dusty as an interesting character, but today was a dagger.  I don't even know where to start, but if they lose series we will point to this game as to why he did not get offered a new contract.

I seem to recall Phil Wood saying on TV Saturday that a new contract has been agreed to.

Don't believe me?  Look to Vegas odds and how improved Bud Black got the Rockies for playoffs.  They actually did make post-season - not bad for Mr. Black

This is my first bloody year watching baseball and even I can tell he buggered this game up! When my mate I was watching the game with told me The Nationals have never been out the first round, in their entire history, I couldn't believe it? After today's, game now I see why.

Let's bring back Espinosa and Desmond also.  Playoff failures were no worse with them than without them.

It just makes no sense how these bats go silent. Rendon, Murphy, Zimmerman and Harper. All have 25+ HR and 100 RBI. Turner 3rd in the league in stolen bases. Taylor had a good season. Yet we have had 11 hits in 3 games.

What is Dusty supposed to do with these bums? Starting Kendrick and Lind would do nothing if the rest of our lineup is doing nothing.

A conundrum to be sure.
