I can't believe 2 days ago I thought we were going to win the division. Actually I thought that yesterday after the Ramos grand slam.

it just seems so wrong watching Clippard pitch for the mets.

That is why we should have never traded him

Most teams blow it open when they go up 7-1 late in a game. The Nats just blew.

Storen would still choke in the 7th or 8th inning wherever you put him.

You know, Storen was pretty awesome in the 7th last season. Just sayin.

Is it possible Williams will be fired tonight by one of the Lerners?  They have to be outraged by now.

I don't blame Papelbon at all for this loss. Even if he pitched 2 scoreless innings we weren't gonna score. We were done after that 7th inning.

No - it's not the Lehner's way to do that with all the attention

Rizzo should be booted out the door with him. He gets a pass and I don't get it. He is an arrogant SOB that never owns up to his mistakes nor makes changes when necessary.

It is devestating, Bob. The Nats are toast. They could win out and they still wouldn't win the division.

Yea I feel like any manager could have eventually gotten a decent team after tanking for like 5 years straight. You get really good draft picks that way.

You can't fire Williams without firing Rizzo. They won't do that.
