Boras really fleeced Rizzo on this Scherzer deal...

And we're not even finished the first year.

This team sucks. Mutts lose, and Max craps the bed.

This is officially a disaster. Has early exit and 5-6 earned runs for Scherzer written all over it.

I'm done with this one and it didn't take too long. Max gives up two doubles on the freaking chalk. This team can't catch a break. He's been long-ball prone lately but that would account for 2 runs, maybe not even. Two freaking balls on the right field chalk line. Unlucky team.

You know the job of the freaking manager is to look out for your goddamn players.  Matt was doing a great job looking out after his $210mil man when he let him throw 34.2 innings in 4 starts

Don't even let Scherzer hit next inning.

Somewhere in the stands BiL is telling some dejected Nats fans that it's still early.

MLB.tv is 50% off. Good time to root for the Jays or Royals.

He will have turned the corner tomorrow. It seems like everyone (Johnny, Ray, FP, Carp) did this week.

It's a mistake to have Max hitting here. He should not throw any more pitches. Bad move Matt. Again.

Scherzer averaged around 110 pitches over a six game stretch.  Suppose that an average pitcher throws around 95 pitchers per game.  That's an entire extra game he effectively threw.
