Honestly decent job by Barrett. Was put in a terrible spot.

I get that that GDT has become a nagfest but it gets to be a bit too much. Even if the Nats lose, I look for little victories and hope they turn it around soon. I'm emotionally invested in the team and I won't give up on them.

You do know this is PROFESSIONAL baseball right? There are no little victories. You either win or you lose. It's time to bring back the ASSCLOWN username.

Little victories?  Are you kidding?

Nope. The other option is to crap my pants over every loss like you do.

Agree, could've been much worse.

little victories?

like watching a crap bullpen only give up 1-2 runs?

Or watching a professional veteran player actually hit in clutch situations?

Or possibly a full complete game from both sides of the inning?

He gave up one run, Bob.  That's enough.

I don't know who's worse.  The offense for always putting the bullpen in this position or the bullpen for always failing.

I think I'm leaning towards it's the offense's fault.  How many zeroes would the bullpen have to put up before the offense scored another run?  The bullpen is pitching against offenses that aren't the Nationals' so there is a limit.

I get that this is an outlet. That's why the nagging doesn't get to me. But some posters are just over the top with their whining.

nagging about nagging is for the weak.

I didn't know that. That's very interesting.

The excuse early on was that we were missing three of our starters. Well, two of them have been back for a while now and the team is still scuffling. What excuse is it now?
It's early

But BIL - you whine as much as anybody here - just sometimes on different issues
