This is on the offense.  The bullpen always has to give up no runs or the team loses.  You can't win games like that.

I agree. We are all expecting the bullpen to literally not make one mistake and the starters to throw 7 innings of 0-2 run ball. We have to freaking score. Period

I thought he was ignoring you.

I put like a half dozen people on Ignore for two weeks and took them off earlier this week. The latter was a mistake.

I remember a sergeant at Ft. Polk who said, "If you ain't nagin', you ain't happy."    Ah, the good old days.    :)

I vote offense is the problem too, we suck at hitting when we need to.

is it really so much to ask a bullpen do their job?

Putting up zeros indefinitely is their job because the offense was going to have to score another run for this team to win when they score two against Mat Latos.  Guessimate, when were they going to score again?

I am physically ill from watching these losers.

The Marlins have been as bad as any team in baseball this year and Mat Latos has been as bad as any starting pitcher this season and they easily dispatch of the Nats in this one.

I can't stand this. This is bullcrap.

I'm goin' golfing.

Yep, some people are not happy unless they're unhappy. Being around those people is unbearable. It's soul crushing. Just like tonight's GDT. That's why I don't frequent the GDT that much. It's bad enough to watch the team scuffling.

You obviously missed the part when he said not to panic.

Well, it's not like we're paying a pitcher $1MM to give us 6 or 7 innings in every one of the 30 or so games he'll pitch for us this season...  Wait...

I'm with ya BIL. I'm waiting for this nightmare to end....trying to stay positive but this team seems to have some issues. Hope they can find the mojo

I'll be heckling Marlins fans (fan) tomorrow

I have a buddy like that.    If I told him I broke my leg, he'd say, "That's nothing.   I have mononucleosis."

You really should be on TV instead of Ray because that there is some serious insight.

It's extremely discouraging, I'm with you, but the beauty of this game is that they play a crapload of games. I don't know how some of these people can last given how they freak out over every game. Enjoying the peaks and valleys that a long season offers is half the fun for me.

Indeed. This has to be "the season". Tons of key players depart after the season via free agency so who knows what team they will field next year.

There should be a higher sense of urgency but there just isn't and I don't understand why.
