Treinen as the set-up man makes zero sense. He doesn't strike anyone out, period. He should be used in a Stammen-like role.

But then again we have nobody to fill the 8th inning role with Clippard gone and Janssen inevitably injured.

Barrett is not capable either. Thornton can't fulfill every role.

Agree 100%. There are certain guys on this roster that I despise. Not saying they don't have a certain degree of talent...but some guys I can no longer tolerate.

We need to call up Rafael Martin from AAA. He can strike people out. 4 Ks in 2 IP this year and 66 Ks in 58.1 IP last year.
