Saw Alice Cooper & Motley Crue at Farm Bureau Live in Virginia Beach on Wednesday.

Met Nikki Sixx before the concert and he presented a personalized Schecter Sixx bass to my youngest daughter and then played it onstage during "Don't Go Away Mad."  He was very personable...

Second time we have seen the Crue...and again, we had a great time...

Front row.    Nice

We're seeing the Gaslight Anthem at the 9:30 Club this coming Thursday night. New album came out a few weeks ago and I'm still getting to know it. Strikes me as a mellowed sound than their prior albums.

While looking at Legos at Toys R Us, I was unfortunately reminded by their in-store music of what an irritating skidmark of a band Train is. They suck so much.

Jackson Browne this Sunday at Kennedy Center.  He does not tour that often so loooking forward to the show.

He used to play the Cellar Door back in the day.   :old:  With Linda Ronstadt even.

Groovy.
I have been listening to some of the live acoustic Neil Young albums he has released but have not caught the one from the cellar door yet. Plan to do so.

I actually thought this weeks concert was solo acoustic cause JB was doing that earlier this summer but apparently this is with his band in support of a new album.  Saw him a couple of times years ago but in a large venue so this should be nice.

If you are an iTunes user, you can now download the new U2 album song of innocence until mid-October for free.  It is already in your Cloud library.

i listened to it last night, nothing really jumped out as being spectacular but there wasn't anything that was horrible either.  The first track is probably my favorite.

Speaking of The Cellar Door, would love to pick up the CD's of Miles Davis' The Cellar Door Sessions.  But can'treally see spending $300.

Can't say I've ever listened to a U2 tune.
