If someone had told me the Wiz would be the juggernaut in town in April, I would have signed their committal papers.

Right?  They looked like garbage not that long ago.  Pierce really does show up in the playoffs, wow.

Are we this good offensively or is Toronto that bad defensively?

Shaq says there are discount flights from Toronto to Cancun leaving tomorrow.

Toronto has given up. But this is the Wizards when they're hot.

Yea, when Beal, Pierce, Gooden, and Sessions are ALL draining 3s, and Nene is making 20ft jumpers, it's basically game.

Hope the Caps were watching.

There was a caller on 106.7 yesterday that recommended the same thing.    He said all the Caps should be in one of the suites watching the Wizards.

When they play the Cavs Bryce will be there. With his Lebron hat and jersey.

Ironically, the Nationals will have a game that night, but Bryce will be on the DL

Some graphics designer did helmets for all the NBA teams and they are great.

No they aren't. They're almost all pretty damn awful.

You think the old Arizona uniforms are good so I'm going take what you said with a grain assault.

Most of those helmets look like over-designed Nike/Oregon abominations.

I'm confused, because if you like those old Arizona uniforms you probably don't like classic looks, since they were insanely 90s trendy.

But I think there are some classic looks in there - New York, Nuggets, OKC, Los Angeles, Lakers, Spurs, etc.

The Rockets was the worst, ugh.

You misunderstand why I like the purple/teal D-Backs uniforms. Yes, they were as '90s trendy a uniform set as there ever was in the MLB, but I think that since they won their World Series with those uniforms and since they kept that look for longer than the other teams who used '90s trendy color schemes, those colors moved beyond being merely a cash-in on a trend and became a large part of their identity. It's the same with San Diego's brown/yellow/orange, which was a color scheme that was VERY '70s. It started as an attempt to cash in on a trend, but it ended up transcending the trend and becoming a big piece of the team's identity. Essentially, I like classic uniforms and I view Arizona's purple/teal set to be as close to a classic set as a franchise that young can get. (I've been very much in favor of classic style redesigns from recent years, like the Astros and Blue Jays.)

Worse, maybe more like a Big 12 football game with Baylor in it

Bring on the Hawks.
WIZ can do this--I say WIZ in 6 games.
