Is the game starting late for a reason?

It's starting late for the reason that I didn't realize it started at :10 instead of :05.

Also, did I hear right that the Marlins announcers argued with FP over Yelich being better than Harper?

This is the kind of lineup that should get a manager fired.   :?

Gives us the strong bench we've been asking Rizzo for...

I heard MW on the radio say this is the last chance to give certain players a rest before the playoffs so he's making use of it. There are still some good people in our lineup, and Strasburg really wants to be the Nats' #1 pitcher in the playoffs, now is the time for him to make his case.

That's absurd.   You can rest players next week.

You NEVER start Espinosa against a right handed pitcher under any circumstances.

But they need the rest right now. That gives us the best chance to win the rest of the regular season games. Think beyond one game, my friend.

Don't say getting home field advantage is important and then put this lineup on the diamond.

How much worse would a tired Desmond be than the 0 for 4 that we're going to get from Espinosa today?

We are playing the Marlins after all, not the Dodgers or Cardinals.

Despite being in center field, Harper is likely pissed that he has to start with the second string...

He got sat yesterday. He should want to keep his swing ready for the playoffs

Resting players today gives the Nats the best chance for the rest of the regular season games.

There is simply no evidence at all that resting players TODAY is the key.  Why not Tuesday or Wednesday?  I have no problem with resting players but there's no reason for these players today is the key.
