Espinosa has a better BA than all of those bums at the bottom of the Cubs order and THAT'S what we get from him.

I'll take this bet. No more posting from the loser until after the All Star break.

Just in case this was not seen as it was at the bottom of the page. No excuses now. Sack up or shut up.  :whip:

And the call to arms for him was that at least he had cut down on his K's. He's actually striking out at a .343 clip.

That's better than Musial and Williams.     Oh, that's not batting average.

Send Danny back to Syracuse call up Walters and have him play third and Rendon to 2nd and whatever happens happens.  You can't keep putting out the same crap day after day and expecting a different outcome.

Walters is infinitely better and he's actually teachable, which Espinosa (nor Desmond) are.  Walters can be better than replacement level.

More Espinosa: From L side of the plate, .578 OPS and 38% K rate. From R side of the plate, .830 OPS and 24% K rate.

Beginning with his second season Ted Williams never struck out that many times in back to back seasons combined. And Stan Musial never did it.

9 BBs to 43 Ks in a hitters paradise International League doesn't seem too promising.
