Padres announcers drooling over J-Zimm.

It must suck having to drool over pitchers every night. The Padres are terrible.

Hopefully he can go CG. Would like a rested pen heading into San Fran.

yup. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of big innings needed from the bullpen. Should be a lot of tight games in SF. Hopefully the Nats can win a few for a change.

Really, I don't know why Danny isn't bunting here. It makes sense.

Loboton needs to lay a bunt down here. Advance him to second so JZ can bunt and advance him to third, so Span can bunt for a base hit and score Danny.

Espi now has as many hits this month as he had all of last month.  Incredible.

I don't know why they get rid of cracked bats.  We'd put some duct tape on them, they worked fine.  You could even get a bit of a hinged "snap" action on them once the tape began to fatigue a bit.

Is there a back up catcher that isn't?

I remember puttin' a nail in about 2 inches above the crack.
