Yes. I miss Morse. His fielding in LF not much worse than Ryan Z's. The Nats need hitters. Ah, well...coluda shoulda etc

I'm not sure there is any data on when the term "no hitter" is used

People who don't believe in jinxes will be too lazy to do the decade man-hours of research it would take.

People who believe in jinxes are content to believe in it regardless of any proof to the contrary.

Bases loaded an no outs and DBacks get nothing vs Atlanta. Harang has been terrible all game but pitching a shutout. freak

Charlie and Dave are doing a good job avoiding mentioning what's going on. This is a fun one to listen to but in a half hour I have to go to the lobby and register for this conference...

Let him swing.

Not while he has a perfect game going. He needs to get back in the dugout and get ready for the next frame.

Could be a problem.  I'm not sure we even could agree on the definition of what is an offense to the jinx fairies versus not.

Like, if a San Diego fan says "no-hitter no-hitter no-hitter" eleventy billion times, does that matter?  Or does it only matter if a Nats fan says it.  What if it's not a fan of either team?  What if it's a guy from San Diego living in DC who also likes the Nats?

What if 27 Nats fans say "No hitter" but the San Diego pitcher steps on the baseline chalk walking back to the dugout, which is weighted more?

Maybe we should find a few true believers to lay out the rules for us first.  Including a process for evaluating competing jinx violations so we can control for prioritization in cases of multiple offsetting offenses.

Don't know why but I was not on the Morse bandwagon when he was here.    He always reminded me of the big kid in 6th grade who was a doofus.

I was definitely on the bandwagon when he was here. The guy mashed. He's irrelevant now that he's not on the squad anymore.

Nats fan, broadcaster, media member (or fan of team whose pitcher is throwing the no-no) who brings it up. Also, national pundits can jinx it as well. Fans/broadcasters/mms of team being no hit do not register on the jinx meter.

It doesn't get too serious IMO till he's into the 7th.

Well, I always wanted that big doofus on my side in Greek Dodge.

This inning should be a breeze with the bottom of that horrible lineup due so it might as well be into the 7th.
