Beltre is doing damage here. I'd walk him.

Roark, 6 innings, no runs. Great start from the number 5 starter.
yes. now pass it on to Storen, Clip, and Soriano. Nats need to drive up Darvish' pitch count up and get him out by the 8th.

Tim Cullen squints his eyes at you

I expect that Cullen would nod. Brinkman started at SS for years (eight?) hitting less than .220. Just couldn't do without that fielding.

Roark, 6 innings, no runs. Great start from the number 5 starter.

I would take that every time from Roark. Same ERA as Strasburg. Only 6 fewer innings in 1 fewer start. Only difference being the K/BB ratio.  :stir:

Ballsy running by Werth. If Andrus regroups he's out by a freaking mile.

That's why we lose. What a horrible AB. That pitch was never a strike. pitiful.

Someone who is so terrible in big spots like Ramos should not be batting cleanup. He doesn't put ball into play unless it's down the middle.

I will never understand why hitters SWING IN THE DIRT at pitches.  If you're swinging in the dirt, IT'S NOT A STRIKE!!!

Desmond would never get a hit against Darvish no matter how many at bats he had.
