This.  Errors or not, this is not the Nats team that any of us envisioned would be playing just 16 games into the season.  Look at the starting lineups the past few games:  McLouth, Leon, Espinosa, Frandsen, Lobaton,  Moore.  That is a .500 team type of lineup which unfortunately is what you are when so many of your bench players are forced into a starting role.

Unfortunately the standings don't give a crap about that.

Thanks for reminding me to bring my brown paper bag tomorrow night. It'll be my girlfriend's first ball game - I've already given her fair warning that I might not be too pleasant to deal with.

You can be optimistic, but I'm being realistic - this team stinks. The Braves have a number of key injuries and that's not hurting them. Injuries are a part of the game and you have to be prepared for them. Whether you lose with your starters or your bench players, it's still a loss.

The SSS are having a get together to talk things through. Ironically, they usually avoid the sunshine.  :poke:

:worship:  And not only do the standings fail to reflect injuries, the prices at the stadium don't either.

Will SOMEONE in this organization finally admit that they're embarrassed by this performance?

Ruled an error, but it really should be a hit since he didn't get a glove on it.

And Ramos is a great game caller who got into a great rhythm with the staff in the second half of last year.  Leon and Lobaton don't have that rapport.

Someone needs to update the Nat's wiki page. Change the owner from Braves to Braves & Cards.

True - the loss of Ramos is huge. But, again, you still have to play the games with the pieces you have and make it work.
