Joe Carter
Dude, my dad made me go to bed right before Carter came up to bat. Was SOOOOOOO pissed the next morning
Lock of all centuries that his bat wakes up vs the Nats this weekend:
I'm open to persuasive evidence.
Justing winning the one is the difference between a one and three game swing, this series is already not what the braves needed
Not following the math...
The worst we can be coming out of the series now is 3.5 up (one game swing), where as if we'd been swept we would have only been 1.5 up (three game swing). The Nats, of course, can also make a one game swing in their favor with a win tonight.
But the Nats need a win tonight as well, given the future trip out west to Seattle and LA Dodgers
If you buy into the theory that the braves are into the Nats heads then you should be thinking the tide has turned (they've won 3 out of the last four) and the Nats will be playing free and easy tonight.
Go Dodgers. Go A's. The only way we win this division is if other teams take care of our business.
Then again, on the positive side, last year on this date last year we had won 3 in a row but were still 14.5 games back of Atlanta.
The Braves have a 4 game series with the Dodgers and somehow they miss both Kershaw and Grienke. Must be nice.
