Why can the Phillies beat the Cardinals but we can't?
They can beat the Braves too

We're back in 2nd place and it's gonna stay that way the rest of the season.
Well that lasted 23 hours.

Former National Chad Tracy says Washington should win the NL East

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dc-sports-bog/wp/2014/06/20/former-national-chad-tracy-says-washington-should-win-the-nl-east/
I always liked Tracy. In his first season before he got hurt I am pretty sure the Nats actual game plan was "Pitchers mow them down, stay within one run or tied until the 8th or 9th, let Tracy hit, profit"

We HAVE to figure out a way to take series' from the Braves. period.  winning 1 out of 3 every time is not going to do it, in the long run.  it's just not.

you can question my fanhood of whatever you want. but until we get past the mental block that is the Braves, we won't succeed, the way we want to.

My prediction is out there before these past two days; Nats win the NL East.

I'm here win or lose.

What, you didn't  throw your hands up in the air, stomp your feet and say you're done with the team when they were a couple of games out in May? Crazy.

With today's win the Nationals are 3-7 this season against the Braves and the Braves are still 1 1/2 games behind.  That tells you how awful the Braves have been against teams not the Nationals.

Nothing about the Barfs impresses me, except possibly their closer. And he's already blown 4 saves this year.

Don't be surprised if Teheran tries to hit one of our guys for "intimidation" like he did to Harper last year - since he can't pick on Harper this series for obvious reasons, the next logical candidate is probably Rendon.
Didn't see the game today but just read this in the WaPo game story:  "The Braves’ frustration with Rendon boiled over in his first at-bat of the game. After Denard Span flied out to lead off the inning, Santana fired a 95 mph first-pitch fastball Rendon’s head. Rendon ducked out of the way and offered little reaction. He drew a walk in the at-bat, a mistake perhaps Santana and Braves may regret."

Did it look accidental or intentional?

Second pitch was up and in as well.    I don't believe in reoccurring coincidences.

I didn't think it was intentional and FP didn't seem to think so either (or at least he didn't dwell on it and mentioned Santana immediately wiping his hand after the pitch).  Rendon didn't flinch at all and certainly didn't seem bothered, much less intimidated.

Probably not intentional but you never know with that punk. He'll get his at a time and place of the Nats' choosing. Last time I checked pitchers hit in the NL.

Theoretically I could marry Alyssa Milano. Doesn't mean it will happen.

But then you'd have to become a Dodgers fan.  Might be worth it tho....

freak the Astros for bending over for Atlanta.

Nats division lead cut to 1 game.
