I'm so glad the Braves lost last night so we remain in first, but I hate having to rely on the kindness of strangers to stay in first place.  We need to keep our destiny in our own hands by winning.  If we win, then there's nothing Atlanta can do to catch us.

Great game face but he had this really high girly voice, especially when he raised it in anger. I saw a clip of him getting in an argument on the field and it was comical.

what we need to do is beat them when we play them. something we haven't figured out how to do in two years.

A red hot Matt Kemp with a game-tying solo HR in the bottom of the second. 1-1

I suppose. I'd take him in a heartbeat though over Trashspinosa.

Gordon is like Hamilton. Fast but not a smart baserunner.

Puig blew an RBI chance in the 5th.

Still tied top of 6th.

markasaxon Mark Saxon

B.J. Upton just struck out for the third time tonight and the 133rd time this season. It's still July.

5 years, let's round up to $75mm, so $15mm/yr.... carry the one..  that's about $70k a K so far this year.

That's two innings in a row they've had runners on the corners and haven't scored. Looks like they're taking hitting lessons from the Nats.

Against a guy who's been getting lit up lately.  I can just imagine their board right now:

DodgerFan94:Season.  These overpaid bums are going nowhere.

LeagueOfPuig:Time to blow this team up and start over, look to 2016.

Canada:They don't know what they have... I swear, they don't even know...  Wait who's Grenike?
