The 'pen went:

4IP, 1H, 1R, 0BB, 8K

Anyone that nages about that needs some serious shaking down.

Exactly. Clippard gave up a bomb but there's no way I'm ripping Clippard over one bomb after the way he has performed for the Nats over they years.

'course he does.

anyone who has ever made a single solitary complaint about the Nats play in the 9 years they've been in DC is included with SF and PC.

Remember when Espinosa had a bruise?  Let us not forget why this thread http://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=30621.0 exists.

I really don't take notes about who says what. It's more of a general comment about the panic monkeys on the game day thread.

I don't think I'm nearly as bad as SF or PC but having less of your self righteousness in the game thread is definitely a positive.  :poke:

Really? It's not "anyone who made a single solitary complaint." It's the dimwits who call game after the second inning, or who whine how it's going to be a long season three innings into the first game. Just insufferable whining. I've seen pre-schoolers handle setbacks better. Just grow a pair and be men, for crying out loud.

there is only two of those really.  well, three if you count deeznats who seems to want the Nats to be bad just so he can say "told you so".

either way, your self-righteousness about it is just as insufferable as the whining.

You're probably right. But those three are just an effing pain in the ass. And then others think it's somehow funny to call game for the millionth time. It's not funny. And that's the worst thing I can say.

And look up self-righteous.

I know when people are joking and when people are whining.

If you think calling game for the millionth time is funny, then I can't help you. It's a tired cliche, at best, at this point.

obviously you don't.

only two people on this entire board say "game" and mean it. and they are widely regarded as dumbasses by most everyone here.

lighten up francis, we all know you are the almighty super-positive leader of your precious Sunshine Squad, as if nobody else wants the Nats to win.

Fun game, highlights:
- rendon
- the pen (except for Blevins, but since it was Wright, and Wright is on my money-league fantasy team, I'll overlook it)
- Soriano didn't pitch in a pressure situation
- Espinosa's at-bat
- LaRoche
- Desmond
- Rendon
- Did I say Rendon?
- Barrett
- Rendon
- John Lannan
- Rendon
- An empty Shea Stadium for the last half of an inning
- Rendon

Low-lights:
- Harper almost getting hurt
- Ramos maybe being hurt
- Strasburg's 1st inning
- Instant replay

I have this theory that hardcore LoDers subconsciously want the team to lose so they can feel vindicated. They seem way too happy when the team suffers.
