Harper:
Quote
The doctor said it can take a good 9-to-12 months to get healed all the way. Hopefully that happens. I’m about halfway there.”

Quote
Since the All-Star break, Harper is hitting .293 with a .360 on-base percentage, 11 homers and .833 OPS. Over his last 19 games, he’s hitting .343 with a 1.001 OPS that ranks sixth in the NL in that span and a league-leading six homers.

.274/.343/.433 line on the season. 114 OPS+

it just makes you wonder what he can do over the course of a season if he stays healthy.  last april was a preview, we're seeing signs of it again now.

These MLB plushies are weird and kinda creepy.

I'm guessing BH34 owns several. (And that MDS owns a BGS version also.)

stole his second base of the year today! then rested. Can never get a 21-year old who has missed 48% of the season enough rest!  :hysterical:

You're really grasping at straws to find stuff to criticize him for at this point, dude. Besides, in case you didn't notice, NEARLY ALL THE STARTERS RESTED FOR THE SECOND GAME OF THE DOUBLE-HEADER BECAUSE IT WAS COMPLETELY MEANINGLESS GAAAAAAAAWWWD!

Don't know if this is bad because he could get hurt, or good because it give him less time to get HUGE which I think he has tried to do too much of the past couple offseasons

Saw Nats at Citifield a week or two ago. After between-innings warm-up, Bryce Harper walk over to the stands and handed a ball to a little girl sitting on her father's lap. If he had thrown it, probably would have konked her on he head. A good kid, this Harper.

Are we sure he won't need another off season surgery to fix his weak body?

Longest HR in Harper's MLB career:

Morse's 465' shot is still the longest in Nats park history.

That was fricking awesome today. On a day when the team was flat, Bryce showed up with his best eye black on. I was impressed. I could see a monster series, just hope its in a winning effort.

Back to stroking the shaft and swallowing the gravy.

Anyway, hopefully Harper's hit streak will roll over to next season.

I'm blaming him for not being in position to keep that a double.  SHould have been an easy out at third.

Telling you, he needs to move to third. Would solve a lot of headaches.
