that's pathetic, 1,000 bobble heads for a game where they sold almost 8,000 tickets. I wonder how many won't bother trudging out for the next big promotion

there's no way in hell there were 8,000 people at that game, the stadium was maybe 3/4 full at best (so i'd figure 3-4k).  There were a few who got their bobble heads and left, but I assume they were just putting them into their cars.  1,000 bobble heads does seem pretty accurate though, i'd estimate there were easily 2k people on line when gates opened.

According to the wikipedia page, the Pfitz only holds 6k.  The bleachers were well less than half full during the game, though the reserved sections were packed.

it's a buck more to sit in the red reserved sections, for that, you get back support.  It's well worth the $1

at the pfitz, aside from the fact that they are unpainted metal and hot as crap by first pitch, even the best tickets for the high rollers (field Box) are only $16, reserved is only $11

We only had about 70 on line at WNFF when the gates opened, but how many were waiting in line at the park?

I was watching ESPN last night (during the rain delay of the Orioles-Yankees game) and they did the Nationals-Phillies game and one of  the announcers called Werth, "the R-rated star" for some reason?
