Why is Davey sticking with the same lineup that struggled to plate two runs yesterday?  Damn he is stubborn.  Bat freaking Kurt Suzuki second and bat Lombo eighth, as had success there in recent games.  Better yet, get Kobernus some at-bats so he doesn't rot away on the bench.

Frankly I wouldn't trust Davey to manage an Old Country Buffet at this point.

Does it really matter?  We are going to get owned by a rookie no matter where he bats them.  We just can't string together hits. How many times will FP say the advantage always goes to the pitcher the first time you see him when the Nats are batting?  I'll bet Bordick never mentions that when the O's are up.

How many innings or pitches will Davey gives Karns, before he goes to our crappy pen?

Good luck Karns, wish you well. Just a really tough spot for him.

Yup, you know Gausman will own us like no other. Almost a near lock.

Expect Duke by the third inning.

LONG STREAK OF LONG BALLS

The Nationals have hit at least one home run in 72 consecutive series. The last time Washington played a homerless series was during a four-game set at Citi Field, September 12-15, 2011. As the Nationals did not homer in yesterday’s two-game series opener, the streak is on the line tonight.

Why are we letting Orioles fans make Gameday threads?

It's pouring rain here in Oakton, VA. Weather at the stadium?

Setting up lineups for the daily fantasy. Nats have only two starting players on the lineup with salaries more than $3K tonight (LaRoche and Zimm). Braves have very few players with salaries below $3K. Overall, the Nats full roster priced at $24.8K and Braves one is $32.8K I don't like DJ's decisions this season, but we have to give him a credit for what he has to deal with.

Yep, 4 of 8 position player starters are injured.  I seriously don't think swapping Kobernus for Lombo or Moore was going to make all that much of a difference.

I just want to see Karns do with the first pitch he sees what Milone did.  Let's start a tradition!

30% chance of rain my ass. Really hope it doesn't rain out because I don't have any other chance to watch a game here for a while.
