Clippard 8 walks in 10.1 IP this year. Tied for third most in NL for relievers. Henry is tied for 2nd with 9. Marmol 1st with 10.
wow, that's pretty elite company

What will read about Strasburg in the postgame?  Just couldn't get a feel for my pitches?  The mound was funky in my landing area?  I was getting squeezed?  I just couldn't locate?  I'm glad I got it going in the 6th inning?

Storen having a shut down inning when we don't need it, makes sense!

Even though he only gave up 2 runs, too bad our ace didn't crush this team. Instead he walked batters and had the leadoff man on in 5 of 6 innings.  Plus, they now realize the bullpen is no good, and we can't get a clutch hit.  Tough to be encouraged.

Our ace gets his chance on Wednesday.  Our #1 starter hasn't won a game in a month, he's nobody's ace.

The first inning troubles are kind of annoying but let's not pin this game on him. The offense let Teheran off the hook and Clippard pissed the game away by walking the #8 hitter.

Another couple games like this and it will be time to get the Fire Davey thread going.  Zero energy level on this team, no accountability.
I really think we miss Zimmerman, funky throws and all.  He lengthens the lineup.

Maybe this is the max effort for this team. If that's the case then it's a Fire Rizzo time because he put together a crappy roster.

This is all on the offense. They've given up 3 freaking runs!

This is not a World Series team. They have less fortitude than a fortress made of blankets and pillows.

Probably so, he's about our only chance to break out.

Strasburg was a part of the offensive cluster.  He couldn't get a bunt down and his whiff on strike 3 led to Tracey's belly flop double play.

Gonna be tough vs Kimbrel, but what an effort from Storen. Fantastic inning.

we may have found our low leverage reliever.

The Braves know they've won.  It's much easier to pitch when the batters know they don't need to score anymore runs.

Nope, we may not have the unbeatable roster that was hyped up during the off season, but they are definitely under achieving, this is on Davey.
