Keep that .130 stick in the lineup.

lmao. that's now 5 Ks in 2.2 IP from their bullpen.

Some people will never learn. Either beat the Braves early or lose, it's that simple. You aren't doing a damn thing vs their bullpen. Ever.

I'm sure Davey will.  He did get on base twice tonight, which buys him a few more weeks in the middle of the lineup I'm sure.

Other pitchers come out and can throw their fast balls for strikes.   It's less than 50-50 chance that our pitchers will be able to do that.

If you can't throw your fast balls for strikes, you're Carlos Marmol.

And the game is over.

Espinosa tied the game off Kimbrel last year. There's no reason Desmond can't, it's just thoroughly unlikely.

There's no reason he can't. I just know we won't, unfortunately.

Look at the body language in the dugout, they've given up, no life.
Even though he only gave up 2 runs, too bad our ace didn't crush this team. Instead he walked batters and had the leadoff man on in 5 of 6 innings.  Plus, they now realize the bullpen is no good, and we can't get a clutch hit.  Tough to be encouraged.

This is not a World Series team. They have less fortitude than a fortress made of blankets and pillows.

Clippard 8 walks in 10.1 IP this year. Tied for third most in NL for relievers. Henry is tied for 2nd with 9. Marmol 1st with 10.

If things stay as they are now, tomorrow's game is a crucial must win game.

Bryce Harper is too good for this team.   He's like a single rose in the middle of a garbage dump.  >:(

The offense is doing pretty much exactly what it did last April. I think they're actually doing better. I'm not too worried about that.

What a catch.

That means Storen has to get through unscathed.

This game has been over for a while.
It was over in the 6th when they they had two runners on and no outs and failed to capitalize.

Another couple games like this and it will be time to get the Fire Davey thread going.  Zero energy level on this team, no accountability.
