Schafer was out though.
Shaefer is eating our lunch tonight.  Amazing we can't get him out.

We just lack this year.  Lack everything.  Toughness especially.

Poor hitting.
Poor fielding.
Not so good pitching.
Poor managing.  Why not let Stras pitch the 7th after breezing through the 6th.
This sucks.

Especially when Strasburg is a comparable hitter to anyone on the bench.

Desmond should've bunted earlier.
Ya think????  You mean you don't like him swinging out of his shoelaces no matter what the situation????

His numbers with RISP this year are disgustingly bad. But nope, refuses to change the approach.

Some coach needs to teach Clipp how to speed up his delivery. That delivery has been advancing runners since 3/4 of the way through 2012.

The good news is that at least we won't blow a 4 run lead tonight.  I was thinking the implosion would happen in the 8th with Storen on the mound,

Where was that fastball to lead off the inning vs Laird? Baffling. He kept throwing it way inside and high. Now all of a sudden vs Upton he looks unhittable.

The fundamentals just aren't there with this team.  Even a number of the wins have been sloppy this year.  Very disappointing after being solid last year.

I think the pitching has settled down. Fielding is OK, although Rendon is so raw. Hitting like it's 2011, however.

Now time for more ownage courtesy of the Braves' untouchable bullpen.

Walden struck out 3 in 1.2 IP. Now for more of the same from O'Flaherty and Kimbrel.
