7 hits in 3 inning and only 2 runs. Not getting the job done.

not many bullpens can be good for 4-5 innings.  it is always good to get to the bullpen especially the beg of a series

FP is really starting to grate on me this year.  Last year he was merely annoying.

That's not what I said. I said there is no rush to run up his pitch count. We need to score runs while running up his pitch count or it's pointless. If we knock him out after scoring 5-6+ runs that is awesome. If we only score 2 and knock him out in 4-5 innings it's not good for us because of their bullpen.

Any scenario that lets him stay in the game is bad for us.  Getting him out of the game means we're being successful.  I doubt we're going to foul off 50 pitches, if that's what you're concerned about.

The Braves' bullpen leads the NL in ERA (2.18) by a good margin over everyone else.

I'm concerned about us doing exactly what is happening. Tons of baserunners but not cashing enough of them into runs.

I always thought "mo" was "homo.". At least that's the context I have always heard it used.

Don't be a mo.

 :mg:

My friends and I use it a short for "moron".

Whilst I waited for this season to start I watched as many of last year's games as I could (got to July) in about 4 weeks. 3 games a day, man! And I concur with all aspects of this. Getting worse as time goes on. I'm not trying to say I could do a better job, but sometimes, SOMETIMES silence is better than talking crap.

Strasburg has just two strikeouts of this team that whiff more than another NL team.

I wouldn't feel too good about one coming that close from the weakest bat in our lineup, lol. Simmons ain't got a whole lotta pop.

It stayed in the park, I am feeling good about it.

They struck out 39 times (avg 13/game) in the series vs Detroit.
