Thanks.  Didn't know that an asterisk = star.

What did you think it was, a prospect suspected of juicing?

I'm starting to think MD may hold its own in the Big whatever - Ohio State will kill them, but they're in the next tier already. Really, they're an NCAA sanction (not unheard of where OSU is concerned, and Meyer's recruiting isn't exactly for the timid) away from competing for the conference

It'll be a bigger transition than you think.

I didn't say anything about the quality, just that it will be a bigger transition most fans will expect.

Owning our own backyard will do wonders. We need to keep WVU and PSU out of Baltimore and D.C.

Just tell them there are no little boys and they won't even bother coming around.  :stir:

I had the Maryland game on but was napping.  I woke up, still half asleep, the score was 35-0 and continued my nap, thinking the game was almost over...

Clearly it wasn't.

There's a lot of hype surrounding the OSU/Northewestern game but I don't see it. OSU should roll them by double digits (but secretly I'd like to see Northwestern upset them ).

Georgia Tech's coach is so livid with the interception his starting QB threw that he put in the backup and when the backup got knocked out of the game he put in the third stringer.  :lmao:

GT won the time of possession 36 to 24 but lost by two touchdowns.

in all seriousness though, it's not a big deal as i expected us to lose. FSU is a top 5 team in the nation and can run with anyone. once CJ got hurt we had no chance. if we make a few plays early on maybe we keep it close at halftime but we still just aren't on their level.

it was pretty embarrassing though. even if CJ is out for the next 2 games we should be 6-1 heading into clemson.

still on track to win 7-9 games this season, which is cool with me. 2014 is the big year.

By which barometer?

By which barometer?

The fact that they are #8 in the nation and full of young talent that should improve as the season goes on (especially defensively). They could beat or at least compete with every top 5 team, in my opinion. Winston looks like the best QB in college football this year.

Losing to them isn't a big deal but getting embarrassed ruined any good publicity we had entering the game.
