Robert Griffin 394 passes this season, 32 with the lead.

Amazing in its awfulness.

Awful team with no hope. They have way too many holes to be able to fill them all in 1 offseason and that's all Shanhan has to turn it around or he's gone and we start over again.

cut the cord, give the new coach the extra money instead of just loading up on zone blocking linesmen.no one else could use

This is getting very ugly. Take Griffin out before real damage is done.

I removed the comment I entered about him earlier.    I thought it was just me.

How hilarious would it be that they pass on RGIII only to draft Manzel

Josh Wilson is #MarylandTrash

That should make Terpfan76 happy since he wants the Redskins roster to be filled with terps. Josh Wilson was the 49ers player of the game last night. Aside from Josh Wilson the rest of the defense held out well (even though they still failed to generate a decent pass rush), all things considered.

Redskins 2-12 at Fed Ex on Monday night. Just forfeit nationally televised games. Forfeiting would be less humiliating to the fanbase.

Houston, Jacksonville, and Atlanta are all 2-9.  Minnesota is 2-8-1.  Redskins are 3-8, so yeah, the top pick isn't out of the question next year.

Josh Wilson has been trash. He played well at times last season, but other than that, he's been bad. Hall has been pretty good though. I think we need to go ahead at this point since it's all over but the crying and play Rambo, Gettis and LeRiebus. I know I've said it before but let's see what these guys can do over the next 5 games. Compton should play over Polumbus at this point too, he can't be any worse.

As for Terps players, I'd have liked for us to have signed Vellano as an undrafted free agent but that's about it.

The one I feel really bad for is Alfred Morris. He's right in the mix for the rushing title but due to defensive woes and an awful passing game (it's like having Brunnell all over again) they are always behind and he isn't getting enough carries. He's only had 20+ carries in 3 of the 11 games. There have been games when he didn't even step on the field for the entire 4th quarter.

It would make it even funnier if they traded up to get him. Or any other QB.

If I see Niles Paul return one more kickoff I might have a breakdown. I don't even know where you go from here as a team. Certainly the last thing I feel going into next season is encouraged.

Kickoff returns are so bad that opponents don't even bother trying for touchbacks.

Niles Paul would catch the ball and there'd be two defenders on him immediately. Kinda felt bad for him.

Kick the tires on Randy Starks.

Griffin would have to get hurt for that to happen. If they were to bench Griffin at any point for performance then you can pretty much count on a diva like Griffin to walk when his rookie contract expires. In the meantime, the Rams will be getting a top 5 pick in next year's draft.

If Griffen is good franchise him if not,  he'll get cut before he has a chance to walk.  For the Griffen supporters,  who was the last great QB that learned to read defenses,  go through his progressions,  and throw an accurate ball while starting?

It sucks that we gave so much for Griffin that realistically we're chained to sink or swim with him for the next couple years, whether right or wrong. Without the read-option and the lack of adjustments by opponents last year, I truly don't think he's the best QB on the team, and he looks like he's actually getting worse. I'm starting to doubt he can grow into the best QB on the roster.

Some people were under the impression that Griffin was extremely accurate. I heard some people even say that he had the tools to become the best QB ever.  :lmao:  I don't know what the freak they were thinking but mostly they were probably wowed by what they saw him do at Baylor. I'm far from a Griffin fanboi but I would say that a lot of QB's came in to the league and worked on becoming more accurate, reading defenses and going through progressions. I doubt any of them became great QB's though.   I'm still holding out hope though that Griffin will learn from all this and become the player I hoped he would be. I think a lot of people were fooled by college stats (idiots) and also by the way he talked and seemed to say the right things. Now we're seeing something completely different. I think what's more troubling is the history of Big 12 QB's in the NFL, especially those that played in spread offenses.

Who are the best Big 12 QB's to have come out?
