Well the two guys who were supposed to be their primary receivers are either sitting in jail or suffering from brittle bone disease

Talib seems to have this as well.

But it's a bad idea to rely on TE's, no matter how good they are, to be your primary targets. You have to have at least one WR that can be reliable.

Agreed. Who thought it was a good idea to have three lesser Wes Welkers and a second round rookie as their receivers?
Well they kind of were counting on a guy who's currently in jail and another who blew put his knee a few games ago, not like when the let Welker go they didn't have decent players still.  Quite honestly Tom has been anything but terrific so far :(

:hysterical:  Relax mitlen, I see the steelers having a bounce back year in 2014 and going back to the playoffs. They should win the division.

I feel good about the offense  ...  defense not so much.

I wouldn't worry about their defense. That's one area they will get fixed.

Hernandez's situation came up in June and Gronk never should have been counted on in any large capacity anyway. Granted, June was after the draft, but they still should have done more to bring in at least one more real receiver.

It's all good.   I'm a Yankee as well (further west).    Some of my people were in Massachusetts in the 1600's.

Brady is one of the 3 or 4 guys who can pull this off.   I think Roesthlisberger and Rodgers are two of the others.

Demand a re-draft?

Which was stupid. Why pay him more than Welker to come to NE and get injured all the freaking time?

I got no dog in this fight.   :)    For totally selfish reasons, I'd like to see Denver and Seattle win (though I picked the opposites).

I don't think I posted this here, but I picked the Seahawks and Broncos in the Super Bowl before the season started. Honestly, other than some teams like the Steelers, Giants, Texans, and Falcons being really crappy, this year was pretty predictable.

I figured that Denver Broncos defensive tackle Terrance Knighton would shut down the Patriots' running game.
