packers had their shot but the dude dropped the interception.

Great game between two very good teams. One of those "shame someone had to lose" contests.

Very true. At the conclusion of last year's super bowl I picked the 49ers to win it all this year. I'm not sure I'm going to stick with it though.

Who's better? The 'niners  have the D and punishing receivers.

You may be surprised. crap I bet some people will tell you that some of that arrogance started to show last season after winning 7 straight to win the division. I would wager that one NFC championship appearance will have many in this fanbase feeling like they own the league.

I think.most fans here would just be waiting for the other show to drop

In 2007, he had his heart set on drafting quarterback Brady Quinn out of Notre Dame. “It took a week or so to convince him that we shouldn’t do that,” one former staffer said.

Quinn would've been marketable though.   :mg:

(Someone claimed that the reason Washington sucked is because we were cursed by the team name. Spidey was just riffing on that...)

I was completely oblivious... Remember, I live in Steeler country. I can't begin to tell you how that sucks.

I didn't know that. My condolences. I may have to take it easy on you just for that. Plus, how long before Nathan puts me back on the "watched" list for making posters cry?

Watch it mister... I know people.

Seriously, western Maryland is decidedly slanted toward pissburg and WVU for some dumbass reason. The awesome part is if you have DirecTV, you get the Ravens and Skins but have to get the Sunday Ticket for the Steelers :lmao:
On Atlantic Broadband they had to add a Johnstown station because so many Steeler fans freaked out.

Its basically Pittsburgh, Ravens/Redskins, Dallas and then everyone else. Its funny how quiet Steeler fans got. They really are fair-weather here. Everyone else represents year round.

A sign of real disappointment, as opposed to we Redskins fans who can't stop complaining

I'll take the complainers who stick with the team over the people who only rock the gear when its fashionable.

I know many "Redskins fans" who stop watching when it's clear they aren't going anywhere.

Remember how much Redskins gear was seen around town towards the end of last season? Not this year.

Once a fan base feels entitled,  it gets unbearable,  DC has so much bad history one the past two decades,  that it'll take a lot if winning for us to get that way

See the 2013 Clubhouse section.

 expecting a team to repeat as division champions after coming off the best record in baseball is logical,  expecting them to be there forever is delusion,  but we're not there

Is Andy Dalton another version of Joe Flacco (minus the playoff wins)?

I think so, only big difference is that Flacco has a much stronger arm.

Kind of like the number folks who display American flags now as opposed to after 9/11.    It's human nature to like a bandwagon.

Depends on where you are. Around these parts, you'll see a 'merican flag about every 2 blocks.
