The dallas defense seems to match up well with philly. I think the eagles would fare better against dallas if they played Vick.

Browns fired their coach!??!

Vega what have you heard about it?
I don't get it. They were playing well before Hoyer got hurt. They should have expected to be crappy this year. Since it has only been one year, it doesn't matter much. It is similar to Jacksonville firing Mularkey after one season last year in that they aren't going to have to change much for the next guy, but that was a case of a new owner and GM wanting their own guys, but in Cleveland, this is a new regime giving up on their guy after one year in which they were supposed to suck anyway. Bullcrap. As a fan who is a non-Cleveland local who has no reason to stay loyal to the Browns, I hereby renounce my Browns fanship. Banner and Lombardi are jackasses and the owner may be a crook. I need to pick a new crappy team to root for and watch improve.

Did I? I don't remember. They're in good shape, but I don't really want to switch over to them. Not crappy enough.

Looks like I'll be rooting for Carolina in the playoffs

there doesn't seem to be a clear #1 team in the NFC this year.  Seattle, SF, and Carolina have all played lights-out.  GB is a different team with Rodgers.  And even the Eagles could make some waves.  I kind of discount the Saints since they have to go on the road.  In the AFC, it just has to come down to NE vs Denver in the AFC title game.

The only thing that would've made it better is if Romo had thrown that last pass.

Josh McDaniels reportedly a candidate for Cleveland's coaching vacancy. Okay, now I'm REALLY jumping off this train. I hate McDaniels.

He was a disaster in Denver. Maybe he will bring in Tebow. They will consider Schwartz as well.

You could always be a Redskins fan, they'll go to the playoffs once every 5 years and lose in the first round and then be crappy again for another 5 years while stealing your money and giving you false hope.

I blame Schwartz for Detroit's craptiness. Whoever comes in after him will do well because while it isn't perfect, their roster is pretty solid.

I heard players on the browns are angry because they were led to believe winning this year was not the goal. After trading Richardson they were led to think they were building for the future and this brings them back to square 1.

Didn't the Browns get a new ownership consortium recently (last year or so)?   They may be tired of the same old same old and are sending a message to everybody.    May be Richardson whined too much and they tossed him to the curb too <---  pure speculation.    :stir:

on the GB winning touchdown, it looked like the nickel back covering the slot guy thought they were either in zone or he was getting deep help.  What a burn.  Reminds me of Nook Logan "what was he thinking?! where was he going?!"

Would have been hysterical if the receiver dropped it.
