No one within the range of Chicago's pick and St. Louis will get better offers to trade down than Chicago could have offered.

no qbs will go in the second or third rounds?

McCarron, Mettenberger, and Boyd are options there.

Yes...I am clairvoyant when it comes to all things Chicago...

For instance...I knew we would lose last week...

I'd imagine that known quantity already in the fold/system is going to trump the 2nd or 3rd round QB pick.

I'm sure that's what Vick was hoping. Same with Alex Smith last year

I think Alex Smith is OK with his situation and Vick? Is anyone really surprised by Vick losing his job?

I don't know if I can go 6 months without one of my teams winning a championship, and the Frozen Four isn't until April.

Tomlin's starting to throw people under the bus (not Jerome):

http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/2014/01/03/Steelers-fire-offensive-line-coach-after-one-season/stories/201401030176

It has the smell of Rooney though.    Art and Dan have let it be known that they want the Steelers to be a run first team.   Right, good luck with that in the 2014 NFL.

Dungy to the Lions?

http://detroit.cbslocal.com/2014/01/03/tony-dungy-to-return-to-coach-the-lions/

It sounds like he was just providing his analysis, but he's spot on IMHO: The Lions are the most talented of all the teams with coaching vacancies.   From everything I've read it looks like they will hire Wisenhut.

Lovey apparently is bringing in the Cal coach to run the offense and the fired Vikings coach to run the defense.

The Chiefs have a lot to do with that.

The colts have made up 25 points in the last 18 minutes of game time.
