If Craig Stammen was coming in, I'd say we'd get out of this.  If Burnett had come in at the beginning of the inning, we'd win.  Sean Burnett isn't a bases loaded kind of reliever.
Nope. This is trouble. Two good hitters coming up too. If we give up this game...

Why not let Clippard just pitch the rest of the game out I don't get it.

BTW Hi everybody I am Jen!

Because Henry can pitch 101 MPH, which apparently qualifies you even if you find the strike zone as much as Ankiel did back in 2002.

Great, now you guys made me go check Willingham's stats and he'd be the second best hitter in our team. freak.

This is why I can't stand Davey. This stuff right here. He should have been pulled earlier than this. Now Burnett is not in a good position to succeed. Bless him if he squeezes out a win with this.

It's a great opportunity for Burnett, who was not very good last year, to show he's back on his game.

His ass will be trot out there again in the 9th on Wednesday I bet. :?

Remember, HRod is doing a "great" job and he is Davey's guy.

I doubt it, he'll get the ball again tomorrow if a save situation presents itself.

It's all on Davey on this point.  HRod should have never been in.  Once he put him in, you can't let him load the bases.  Burnett should have been in after the second walk.

I've always wondered, why has Clipp never been given a chance? Best reliever in our staff for the past 3 years. Then you could move Stammen to the 8th inning guy...

He won't pitch four days in a row.
