My hubby is forcing me to go this coming week, this gives me hope it's not going to be a complete waste of a night
Star Wars is the Adele of cinema.
hopefully so for me, otherwise it's going to be a loooong 2+ hours!
Good luck with that. I've never seen either one.
Either movie? I think there's like 6 isn't there? Did you never see the original Star Wars?? I was I think 11 when the first one came out and I adored it but all the rest just lost me, I'm hoping this new one captures a little of the first one's magic
The original was released in 1983. You'd have been closer to 18...
The first one was in 1977.
Whoops...1983 was the Empire Strikes Back...
Return of the Jedi, actually.
You are too fast tonight...
Just got back -- thought it was good, but surprised there's not more critical reviews... Bland story, truly. More excited for the one-offs.
I read the plot on Wiki. Doesn't sound that great, but then again, I have very low expectations for it.
Just happened to catch me at the right moment.
(Image removed from quote.)They should number the new ones 10-11-12, just to confuse everyone more.
Give it maybe two years. Disney will announce Episodes 10, 11, and 12. This is literally a license for Disney to print money.
Yup. >$50M on Thursday night alone... This one will shatter the weekend records. Rogue One, the movie next year, may be even bigger for them, since they can push any of the first 6 movies' characters (it's set between 3-4). Vader will be everywhere; they'll rack in $$$. This was such a smart move by Disney.
