They've had some pretty nice ones over the years.

I thought the BP hats they gave away at 2010 OD were pretty nice.  Still have mine, just don't wear it much b/c I'm not a big fan of the elastic band fitting.

The away caps were nice but I can't wear mine due to that annoying elastic.  My favorites are the ones with blue on the sides and back, red bill, and white front.  They had curly W on the front in 2006 and the new circular logo last year.

Based on Zuckerman's latest blog entry our offensive woes aren't based on lack of talent, it's simply that the team isn't trying very hard.  The guys are stuck in the "doldrums", they are in the midst of the "dog days" of spring training.  Fortunately for us Davey is on top of the situation, he's been allowing them to slack off and next week he's going to whip them back into shape.  Nice to know that our boys can turn on the Natitude with a switch and start hitting again, I'll look forward to seeing that.

Indeed, the entire Nationals roster will start to approach games with a bit more urgency next week.

Get this, by taking advantage of the early bird renewal discount I forfeited my Nats Bucks for the year.  So anyone with a ticket plan under $2K lost money by paying early.

Cheap bastards.  That's the only true natitude from this team.  Fluffer sure got over on me this time and I'm sure it won't be the last time as long as greed is the only driving force our ownership group knows.

How so?  Did they give them to some ticket plan holders and not others?

I didn't get my Nats Bucks because I took advantage of the 5% renewal discount.  If anyone else got both the discount and the Nats Bucks I'd be glad to call them back and ask for clarification.  When I get home you better believe that I'm going to look up the original email and read the small print.

I asked my ticket rep about that before renewing and he confirmed that was the deal.

After the comments the Oreos manager made about Nats' Park, I think the front office should now call these benefits "Nats Daveys" rather than "Nats Bucks".

So the Reds are gifted a game and then they feel free to steal the Nats catch phrase for the season.  While the Nats spent good money on t-shirts and signs around the park only to have their fan base pick up the phrase primarily to focus on team screw-ups, Votto just mentions Cincinnatitude and suddenly it's the hot catch phrase for all the hillbilly Reds fans.

He really should have mentioned "Time for a Cincinnati Bowtie" instead.

Here's the article. Basically Votto gives us props saying we were playing with "Natitude" the first three games but they had some "Cincinnatitude" the last game. Dusty praises us. Imitation is flattery.

I thought Natitutde was stupid when I first heard it but now it's growing on me because people are using it almost tongue-in-cheek.

If you don't take it too seriously, you can have some fun with. Just like the Presidents Race. :stir:

Yeah, pretty sure that was Umpire Suckitude, not Cincinnatitude

Wow, wpa. Two days later and your still miffed. These things even out over the course of the year. No excuse for their suckitude, but it helps me to cope with crappy umps.

Of course I'm still miffed, it's my mission in life to abolish officiating!

Down with UMPS! Down with UMPS!

Who's with me!!!

Actually, I'm over it - but I thought it was funny that anyone would credit anything other than crappy umps for that game

I'm with you. I am amazed how bad umpiring has gotten in MLB. By far the worst in any of the major sports.
And, frankly, it's the easiest to officiate, IMO.

Exactly.  It's not like hockey/basketball/football where you have like twenty things going on at one time.

That's why it kills me to hear people say "umpires are good at their jobs!  They get like 95% of their calls correct - people just don't talk about that!"

freak that crap.  They should get pretty much ALL of their calls correct (at least 99%)! >:( There's no excuse.
