BTW, the current speculation on Stanton's first name is that it's actually pronounced John-Carlo.

Giancarlo the Toronado is getting major MVP votes this season.  Book it.

Feffer's live on set on News4 right now.  They showed some Natitude clips and he's pushing the Take Back the Park campaign.

"Natitude" alone was iffy but passable but I would be embarrassed to be around anyone who would actually say "ignite your natitude".  Just...  yikes.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about it either.  Maybe it'll grow on me...

On the other hand, "Ignite your Natitude" could actually work pretty well if the team ends up sucking:

No way that "cancelling the bottom of the ninth" could every come back to haunt them.

No problem, I have the option to view signatures turned off, so I won't even notice anyway.

Not much of a surprise that a Philly blog is no fan of Natitude, but they do have an interesting take on the Marlins "Lo viste", spread that thang.

I just love the fact the Philthies universe is all pissed off at the Nats. Just love it.

Damn, 40,000 at Fan Fest and the equivalent of 1,600 full season ticket packages sold, how many did the Nats bring in this year?  The Marlins must be using their home games against the Red Sox and Phillies to drive sales for the rest of the season.

Natitude!

Kind of weird that he thinks "Natitude" is worse than take back the park and Feffer's crap talk.  The guy must really hate wordplay.

I heard yesterday that FanFest has been cancelled for this year.  Has anyone else heard this?  I haven't seen anything official.  At the end of last season I was told that FanFest was going to be combined with the Red Sox exhibition game but now with a little more than three weeks to go it sounds like it is a no go.  I couldn't attend in any case but since the FO has decided to join the Yanks and Phillies as one of the three or four teams in the league with no winter event, why don't they just start up an #FUNatsFans hash tag?

Maybe they couldn't get any players to come to town.

The Wounded Warriors Game follows the exhibition game this year.

They could have also run out of Mystic Tan and body oil for Rizzo.
