NookLoganMafia, go into the presale and click the link for ADA-accessible seating. You ought to be able to find tickets in the lower price ranges via that method.

OT  ....   Everytime I see this thread, I think Yellowstone/Tetons/Grand Canyon, etc.

Thanks.  Persistence actually paid off.  I just kept clicking for two tickets in Tier 2 and after about 10 times of it telling me that there weren't tickets in my price range (and offering me floor seats) or telling me there were no tickets available, I landed two tickets in Section 210, Row A.  AMAZING SEATS.  Not sure if it was a Tickets.com glitch or what, but I grabbed them.  I know my mom will be super psyched and I know that she and my dad will love the show.  It's a bucket list show for both of them.

Thanks to everyone for your help and insight.  Much appreciated.  I love this community already for Nats discussion -- this is just the cherry on top.

Oh, and one last thing -- $25/ticket for "convenience fee"?!?!  The Lerners are taking in a hell of a rake.

Coming to Nats Park this spring, better beer options in more locations, fancy food options, digital menus, and faster lines. Nice job by my gal Val!

Maybe this year they can try having food available after the third inning.

This should be interesting to see and more to the point to feel what it's like to walk on a surface that "looks" like a carpet but isn't a carpet.  I'm curious to find out how much this affects the temperature on the concourses on a hot sunny day.

we put a textured coating on [the concrete surfaces] that is absolutely fantastic, looks like you’re walking on carpeting.

Via the Sports Bog, the painted floors that Mark Lerner deemed to be akin to carpeted.

That looks remarkably similar to the 200-level concourse at Verizon Center. They ripped out the carpeting in there and replaced it with a red-painted floor flecked with white. It doesn't look or feel anything remotely like carpeting. I haven't taken my regular camera to any games this year, so I haven't taken any pictures (iPhone camera left the picture looking too orange due to the light reflecting off the red).

Thanks for posting the pic.  I wonder how it's going to look after lots of people walk on these floors

It looks like it's just that concrete floor paint that has a bit of textured material in it to prevent it from becoming slippery.

I hope they're committed to maintaining this stuff, because peeling paint looks a lot worse than dirty concrete, in my opinion.

I'm not sure about what they used, but I've always mixed some sort of special sand in with floor paint, nothing new.

I might be wrong, but I don't think that's paint.

If it is sprayed on wet and dries to a finish - I'm calling it paint.

"It's a polymerized spray on finish." - Fancy talk for paint.

Maybe it's Red Rhino Lining/Line-X. That would be cool

I wish there were better pics - a nice close up of the texture and a well-lit picture to show the true color.

But I will say from that picture, it doesn't look completely horrible.

I had a similar reaction when I saw that picture...Leonsis hasn't bought an interest in the Nats, has he?

Not that I'm aware, but doesn't Mark Lerner have an interest in Monumental Sports & Entertainment?

I was fortunate enough to get through the online waiting room and snag two $99 tickets on club level. It was interesting that I was offered 300-level seats and upper right field terrace seats about 10 or 12 times and kept throwing them back and then ultimately got offered seats in 208 down low. Will be nice to have access to the air conditioning in club level before the concert.

According to WH schedule, Obama is meeting Dem senators to talk strategy tomorrow at Nationals Park. Inauspicious place to plan a victory.

Right, Yankee Stadium or Citi Field would be far more auspicious.
