Davey Johnson doesn't understand the concept of the left handed specialist.

Not rocket surgery, they wanted to see what he has and see if he could end on a high note.

Severino?  He's a proven dud.  Move on.

Davey Johnson doesn't understand the concept of the left handed specialist.

He's been pretty consistent in striving to expand the limits of what each of the pitching staff can do, whether it be # of innings pitched or pitching to more difficult matchups.

I like that he challenges them to step up their games, doesn't just insert Clippard whenever the going gets tough.

Severino?  He's a proven dud.  Move on.

People were wondering why Davey left him in after the HR. It doesn't even approach being one of Davey's more confusing bullpen moves.

Then you need a much better pitching staff. Severino, for example, I watched him pitch in Syracuse.  The only time he was effective was against lefties.  That's the reality.
