Damn, I was shaking like a ragdoll in Rockville.

My wife called from Oakton, she felt it strong too.

Uhh... I'm in Falls Church. Did anyone else just experience one ****ed up earthquake? Never felt one in my entire life, had **** coming down off the shelves. Nothing on the news, nothing anywhere yet.

Felt in haymarket 5.8 centered in mineral va according to wtop.

Yeah, just felt it too. It wasn't too bad though... My wife said her office shook pretty good, but here, about a mile away, it was a weird feeling. Not too bad and the boy didn't act like he noticed lol... I think it may have been felt at the LLWS because at the same time I saw their cameras shaking. My first earthquake as well.

If it's Mineral County, that's WV. They reported it as well on their EMS. I gotta get ready for work, but I'll check back in momentarily.

Pretty strong here in Adams Morgan...pictures flew off the walls, plaster cracked, the house was shaking like crazy for about 30 seconds. The streets are full of people who ran outside.

I have NEVER felt one of those in DC. There was one that affected parts of Boston when I was in college, but this was quite a bit stronger.

That was really weird. My folks in Arlington got a good shaking, too! I am so glad I wasn't in the car. Hope the house isn't too messed up, plaster doesn't like being moved...

They were talking about it on the LLWS broadcast on ESPN. So they did feel it as well. Said, thus far, it was felt as far west as McHenry (Deep Creek).
