Good covering by Espinosa, but still a nice game by CMW.

It was a ball.
It looked like a strike, and it was borderline according to Gameday.  The ump's been inconsistent tonight.

Darwin.  I'm guessing his folks weren't the sunday school type

Charles Darwin was highly devout, oddly enough.

Gameday had it as a strike but close.  He should have gotten the call.

It was well inside, according to Pitch FX and my eyeballs, and he shouldn't have gone in twice in a row on that.

Wang is pitching well tonight.  Might wind up making Rizzo look really good for sticking with him.

Now six inning of shutout. Two fly-balls, so maybe this is time to pull CMW...if Davey has someone better to pitch.

I'll give him a break as an old Pirates' fan.    When BC started his yap, Van Slyke is who crossed my mind.

Roy Halladay would have gotten that call.  Hell, Matt Garza would have gotten that call, TONIGHT!
